Senior Parent Newsletter: September 2015


Seniors who are planning on applying to private or out-of-state colleges or universities are required to complete a Private College Application Check List, which should be submitted to the counselor at least one month in advance of the first deadline and no later than December 4th, 2015.

Seniors and parents are invited to attend our annual College Night for Seniors on Thursday, October 22nd at 6:30pm in the Performance Hall as well as our annual Financial Aid Night on Thursday, December 10th at 6pm in the Performance Hall.  

Counselors will be meeting one-on-one with all seniors for a Senior Conference during the month of October to review graduation status as well as post-secondary plans.

The navigation tabs on the left will lead you to more information about colleges, financial aid and information about TL. Feel free to contact your counselor any time with questions or concerns; email  your counselor or fill out a Request to See Counselor form, available in the Counseling office. Were here to help! 

Parents: We strongly urge you to monitor  your student's grades and attendance via Aeries.  Please call 415.492.3567 or email for assistance logging in.  All students can utilize their Naviance accounts to investigate potential careers and colleges: student login = TL computer username/password.  Feel free to contact your student's counselor for more information.

If you have a question about your student's grade or content/curriculum in a specific class, please contact your student's teacher/s first.

Fall College Visits at TL!

10,000 Degrees Field Trip to Tour Sonoma and San Francisco State

10,000 Degrees College Day Tours Program to Sonoma and San Francisco State. Students, grades 9-12 can apply to attend the free bus tour on Thursday, October 15, from 7:30-4:30. Deadline is Sept. 25th. Applications are in the CCC
