Music Boosters

TL's Music Boosters are family members, teachers, students, and music enthusiasts who support musical activities at Terra Linda High School. Please join Music Boosters or One TL and pledge your support in any of the following ways:

  • help host a concert reception
  • assist with transportation and/or instruments for events away from school
  • represent Music Boosters at one or more OneTL meetings
  • visit the new music room and listen to the musicians as they practice

Music Instructor

Eric Sorenson, Fine and Performing Arts Department Chairman, teaches the instrumental music classes at Terra Linda. Mr. Sorenson comes from a musical family with symphony musicians dating back over one hundred years. He has played the French Horn professionally in the Bay Area since the 1970's and has performed with almost all the local symphony orchestras as well as with opera companies and entertainers such as Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, and others. He was a member of the Broadway show "Cats" orchestra for over 250 performances. Mr. Sorenson brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience having performed classical, jazz and show music.

Choir and Drama Instructor

Christina Stroeh is the choir and drama instructor at Terra Linda. Also the product of a musical family, Ms. Stroeh's grandmother was a concert violinist. She graduated with a degree in music and theater from Dominican University where she concentrated in piano and voice education. She has studied and acted with the Globe Theater in London and has been writing songs and composing for almost ten years.

Ms. Stroeh is a songer/songwriter and has released 2 CD's under the stage name "Moxyblue". She is currently in the process of writing the script and music for a full-scale musical to debut in TL's new Performing Arts Center!
