Make a difference, get involved!
The Terra Linda High School Home and School Club administers the OneTL Annual Fund Campaign and the "Denim and Diamonds" Annual Auction Event. Home and School Club is the umbrella organization for our many booster groups: Athletic Boosters, Academic Excellence, Music Boosters, Scholarship Foundation and Safe and Sober Grad Night. Booster representatives are board members of the Home and Club. All funds received from the OneTL campaigns are distributed to our booster groups.
eScrip funds the annual Teacher's Wish List and the Link Crew program through the Home and School Club. This is one of our most important and successful fundraising tools for supplying classrooms and the library with needed educational aids and equipment. Sign up for escrip today! (See details below.)
As well as managing the eScrip program, Home and School Club publishes the Contact newsletter, funds the Terra Linda High School website, coordinates volunteers, hospitality, campus beautification, faculty appreciation luncheons and supports the Career Center.
Join us at our spring Annual Dinner/Dance Auction - March 27, 2010 - Celebrate One TL - fabulous fun for the whole community! Support our special Booster events throughout the year. Check out our school calendar for details.
eScrip
Terra Linda Home and School has a unique opportunity for you to support TLHS. Without spending any additional money out of your own pocket, you can provide funding to TLHS Home and School Club Teacher Wish List Program. It’s easy, just sign up for eScrip! Last year, thanks to participating families, we received $28,000 from eScrip funds. Today, we have only 16% of our families signed up for eScrip. Imagine what we can provide to our classrooms and students if we had 100% participation!
eScrip is a program for participating merchants to contribute each time you make a purchase using your Safeway grocery card or any registered credit card. There are no receipts to collect, no vouchers or certificates to buy, no hassles for you- and every purchase counts. eScrip has created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases made by participating families to Terra Linda High Home and School Club.
eScrip funds our annual Teacher's Wish List, the College and Career Center, Counseling, Link Crew and the Library through the Home and School Club. This is one of our most important and successful fundraising tools for supplying classrooms with needed educational aids and equipment. TL benefits when you shop at local and national vendors such as Safeway, Macy’s, Scotty’s Market, Round Table Pizza, Planet Organics, Paradise Foods, Mollie Stone’s and Eddie Bauer. This costs you nothing, but every purchase you make benefits our students directly. If you are signed up with your former elementary school you can easily switch to or split the contributions between your elementary school district and Terra Linda High Home and School. Please join today!
1. Go to eScrip.com (click icon above)
2. Click on “sign up” [Use our group # 0136556308]
3. Follow the instructions to register your Safeway and grocery cards and your existing credit/debit cards.
Thank you for your continued support!
TLHS Pride Days
- Saturday October 3, 2009 | 9am - Noon
- Saturday November 7, 2009 | 9am - Noon
Pitch in on the TL campus beautification work scheduled 9:00am to 1:00pm on two these Saturdays. Join for any amount of time you can contribute to help with the gardening, landscaping, painting and other tasks to see the campus green and clean! You can help out with tasks ranging from planting, painting and cleaning. Parents can help organize participating students who earn extra credit and community service.
We also welcome contributions of used garden tools, plants and other materials. There is plenty of work that any of us can do but if you have particular knowledge or skills about plants, landscaping, or irrigation systems let us know. If you can contact us in advance please do.
Contact Ted von Glahn at tvonglahn@pbgh.org or just join us that day.
