TLHS Mission

"WE ARE THE TROJANS"

The mission of Terra Linda High supports a comprehensive quality education driven by continuous improvement and innovation to be measured by student progress and performance. Students will pursue excellence and acquire the knowledge and skills essential for life-long learning, responsible citizenship, and fulfillment of their greatest potential in a creative environment responsive to our changing society. Students, staff, parents, and community are mutually responsible and accountable for student success.

TLHS Profile

Terra Linda High School occupies 29 acres in a serene, residential area off Manual Freitas Parkway in northern San Rafael.

Students who typically attend Terra Linda High School include graduates from Miller Creek Middle School (part of the neighboring Dixie Elementary District), Venetia Valley K-8, and Davidson Middle School, although students from other areas in San Rafael also attend. This is due to an open enrollment policy in the San Rafael High School District that allows students from anywhere in San Rafael to choose either of the two high schools in the District.

Terra Linda High has the highest academic standards with student achievement in Advanced Placement, the Scholastic Aptitude Test and acceptance to college ranking highly by both state and Marin County Standards. A variety of elective classes and enrichment programs provides students with access to a well rounded educational experience.
