College and Career Center:

Attention all females! If you are interested in studying agriculture in college, then we have a $500 scholarship for you!  Stop by the counseling department for more information.

 

Volunteer yourself or with a crew, on Saturday May 9th at the Marin food bank.  Help sort more than 60,000 pounds of food donations expected from the Letter Carriers Food Drive.  Sign up at the Marin Food Bank or come in to the CCC for their phone number.

 

College of Marin Indian Valley Campus will be hosting an Innovations Conference  Open House for interested freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors on Sunday May 9th from 9:45-4:00pm.  Learn about their Auto, Early Childhood, Medical and Dental, Multimedia, Environmental, Apprenticeship and Transfer Programs!

 

Leadership Development Institutes and Pre-College course information at Brown University for students in grades 9-12 is available in the CCC with the other summer offerings.

 

Language Institute Open House:  Students and staff who are interested may attend the Department of the Army’s Defense Language and Institute and Foreign Language Center at the Precidio of Monterey on Friday May 15th from 10-3. Information in the CCC.

 

The Marin Foster Parent Association is hosting their 7th Annual Picnic on Friday June 12th from 12:30-3pm and is seeking 3 or 4 enthusiastic teens, ages 15 and up to supervise the bouncy jump and other games for kids at McGuinnes Parke Hillside.  Come get a flyer in the CCC.
