The committee for Academic Excellence (AE) is dedicated to furthering academic success for every student by seeking out and funding important programs that take students further in the education experience and help them maintain and raise academic standards. Fostering dialog between parents, TL teachers and administrators will continue to be a main focus as will expanding the School Tutoring Program to reach more students both within the classroom and after school in the library.

Mom's Night Out (a fundraiser for the TL library), Mock Trial, Model United Nations and History Day Programs are all supported by AE. AE also provides funding for departmental projects or supplies outside the normal classroom budget. Please join us in "helping ours students to do their best".

After-School Tutoring

After-school tutoring is available for all students in the library. To set up an appointment, students check in with Mr. John Gilluly, the librarian. He contacts the tutor and sets up the appointment. Students can also check with their counselor to find out about all tutoring options.
